Alison is a writer-director-editor in Los Angeles, California. Born and raised in a small town in Michigan, she has a great appreciation for stories about people in places that are often overlooked or seen as mundane; she always finds an understated beauty within. She’s inspired by nostalgia and seeks out imagination in both work and life.
Bellyful, Alison’s debut narrative short film, premiered at the Oscar-qualifying LA Shorts Fest in 2022, and has since earned recognition, including Best Children's Short & Best Child Actress at the 2023 Indie Short Fest. Bellyful has now found its home on Tik Tok, where Gen Z-er’s have embraced it with open arms, having amassed over half a million views, likes, comments and saves.
Currently, Alison is developing her feature film Georgy Girl.
Alison graduated with honors from NYU Tisch School of the Arts, holding a BFA in Film & TV production.
